  • 2 Large Eggs

  • 1 Cup Breadcrumbs
  • Salt black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder
  • Fresh herbs optional, such as parsley or thyme

For the Fries:

  • 3 to 4 Potatoes such as Russet or Yukon Gold
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Olive oil or vegetable oil tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper
  • Optional spices e.g., paprika, garlic powder, dried rosemary

Instructions
 

Marinate Chicken:

  • Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl. Pour in the buttermilk or yogurt, add a pinch of salt, black pepper, garlic, and onion powders. Let marinate for at least 1 hour.

Prepare Breading Station:

  • Set up three bowls:
  • Bowl 1: Combine flour with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Bowl 2: Beat the eggs.
  • Bowl 3: Mix breadcrumbs with any optional herbs or additional spices.

Bread the Chicken:

  • Remove the chicken from the marinade, let excess liquid drip off, then coat each piece in the flour, dip in egg, and finally cover evenly with breadcrumbs. Repeat for extra crunch if desired.

Prepare the Fries:

  • Wash and cut potatoes into evenly sized strips or wedges. Toss them in a bowl with oil, salt, pepper, and optional spices.

Optional Fry Prep:
